Working environment of overhead insulated cables as below:
The long-term allowable humidity of the cable conductor does not exceed:
PE, PVC insulated aerial cables: 70℃;
PE insulated overhead cable: 90℃.
When short-circuit (the longest duration does not exceed 5 seconds), the maximum temperature of the cable conductor should not exceed:
XLPE insulated overhead cable: 160℃;
PE insulated overhead cable: 130°C;
XLPE insulated overhead cable: 250°C.
The ambient temperature during cable laying should not be lower than -20°C.
