• Application:1. For use in overhead distribution system at 600 volts or less, as the connection from the secondary power line or pole mounted transformer to the service head or entrance conductors at buildings. 2. For use in underground distribution system at 600 volts or less (also known as URD, the underground residential distribution network). URD cables will be installed from supply source to the service entrance equipment. It is suitable for direct burial or installations in ducts and are resistant to abrasion, impact and sunlight. 3. For use in maintenance of distribution system, as replacement for cores in existing lines.
